Sporting Stories with Sam Roberts & Mark Ramprakash
Join us on Thursday 3rd April for the latest instalment of Sporting Stories with Sam Roberts, welcoming Mark Ramprakash to The Burrow at the Blues.
Arguably more famous for winning Strictly Come Dancing than his cricketing exploits, Ramprakash has seen it all throughout his career in sport and showbusiness.
He was one of the most prolific batters of his generation in English first class cricket. Ramprakash ended his career with 35,659 first class runs at an average of 53.14 with 114 centuries and 147 fifties and he played in 52 Tests, scoring 2,350 runs.
He was chosen as one of the Wisden Cricketers’ Of The Year for 2007 and awarded an MBE in 2013.
